Rodney Hawkins graduated from Auburn University (cum laude) in May 2009 with a B.S. in Business Administration (Accountancy) and then completed his Master of Accountancy at Auburn University in May 2010. He passed his CPA Exam in the Spring of 2010 while he was completing his Master’s Degree. In September 2010, he began his career at a regional firm in Montgomery, Alabama. Rodney focused in the individual and small business tax areas while he was in Montgomery. In January 2012, Rodney received a job offer with a firm in the Auburn/Opelika area and has been working in the area ever since, providing tax and accounting services to individual and small business clients. Rodney formed Hawkins & Company, LLC in August 2023 to provide tax preparation, accounting, payroll, and consulting services with a focus on personal attention. Rodney, his wife, Jessica, and daughter, Grayton, make Opelika their home and stay active with many pursuits including traveling and volunteering in the community.
